Services

Worldschooling Programs (WS)

While the program is based in Raub, Pahang, the core of our educational philosophy is Nomadic.

We might be swimming in Raub, Pahang, today, but tomorrow we could be kayaking under a cave and through the river in Lipis, Pahang, and the next week, we might be exploring nature in Fraser Hills Raub Pahang.

World Forestschooling Program (WFS)

WFS is a short, mobile program (min. 2 days/1 night) where parents must join. We travel across TFA hubs in Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

  • Learning Focus: We focus on exploring wild nature, mingling with locals, and experiencing our wonderful villagers of TFA. Expecting the unexpected.

  • Action Required: Programs fill quickly! Join our Telegram group for immediate updates and registration.

Tadabbur Alam

Tadabbur Alam is a specialised, faith-based learning method designed for Muslim participants. It is a Quran style of learning that helps connect the teachings of the Quran with the natural world.

Learning is achieved through:

  • Storytelling

  • Science

  • History

The goal is to foster a deeper understanding of the divine through direct engagement with nature.

Frequently Asked Questions

What service do you offer?

We offer two main educational services :

  • Nomadic WORLDSCHOOLING: This is our signature, immersive program that runs for 8 weeks straight. It is based in a dedicated location in Raub, Pahang, Malaysia, with sessions running from Saturday through Wednesday.

  • World Forestschooling Program (WFS): For a shorter experience, our WFS program requires a minimum commitment of 2 days and 1 night. This program is highly flexible in its location and scheduling, taking place in various spots across Peninsular and Borneo Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, with options available on both weekends and weekdays.

Is the program just for children, or do parents need to be involved?

Parent involvement is a key component of our programs, though the requirement differs between the two services:

  • World Forestschooling Program (WFS): Parents are compulsory to join. We firmly believe that education is more than academic learning and that parental presence is essential for this shorter, foundational experience.

  • Nomadic WORLDSCHOOLING: Parent involvement is flexible.

    • Sometimes parents are required to be present.

    • Sometimes your presence is not required.

    • Most of the time, you have the flexibility to choose whether or not to be there, depending on the specific activity or week's theme.

What age groups are these programs for?

The age requirements differ between our two services:

  • Nomadic WORLDSCHOOLING: This intensive, 8-week program is designed for children and young adults aged 7 to 17 years old.

  • World Forestschooling Program (WFS): The age range for WFS is program-dependent, but most programs have no age limit. This means the program is typically open to all ages, from babies up to 17 years old, since parents are compulsory to join.

Where do we stay during the Nomadic WORLDSCHOOLING program?

We want to be clear that we do not offer permanent residency or accommodation as part of the program fees. Participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging for the 8-week period.

However, we have extensive connections with the local community in Raub, Pahang, and we are happy to suggest and connect you with various types of local accommodation.

  • Accommodation Choices: You have a wide range of options, including local homestays, room stays, chalets, hotels, campsites, and unique stays like indigenous village experiences.

  • Stay Duration Flexibility: You can choose to stay at one place for the entire 8 weeks or opt for a more nomadic experience by rotating through different locations (e.g., 1 week per place) to enjoy the full variety the area has to offer.

  • Transportation Note: As the program sites and local amenities can be quite spread out, you are strongly advised to have a valid driving license and arrange for your own transportation. We can also assist you with finding local car rental services.
